Skills are pre-built capabilities that extend what Claude can do in noetect.

What are Skills?

Skills give Claude specific abilities like:

• Creating and managing todos
• Searching the web
• Reading and writing files
• Generating images
• And more...

Using Skills

Skills are invoked automatically based on context. For example:

@claude Create a todo list for my project launch

Claude will use the Todos skill to create actionable items.

Available Skills

Built-in Skills

Skill	Description
Todos	Create, update, and manage todo items
Files	Read, write, and organize files
Search	Search your workspace
Web	Search the web for information

Installing Skills

Additional skills can be installed from the skill registry:

1. Go to Settings → Skills
2. Browse available skills
3. Click Install on any skill you want

Creating Custom Skills

Skills are defined as MCP tools. See MCP Integration for details on creating your own.

Skill Permissions

Skills request permissions before accessing sensitive capabilities:

• File access: Reading or writing files
• Network access: Making web requests
• System access: Running commands

You can manage permissions in Settings → Skills → Permissions.
